Ah, the age-old question. Good things take time—and even better things are hand-printed with love, just for you.

Unlike those big-name online retailers who ship stuff faster than you can say “regret purchase,” we lovingly print each item to order. That means it takes a tiny bit longer, but trust us, it’s worth the wait.

Here’s the rundown:

Orders are processed, printed, and shipped within 2–5 business days

If you order before 2pm, we’ll do our best to ship it within 2 working days

We may not have drones, but we do have dedication (and strong tea)

Thanks for your patience—and for choosing quality over speed-demons in warehouse jumpsuits.

If you have ordered a poster, please note that these are sent out from a different address and will arrive separately to the rest of your order.

Once your order is lovingly hand-printed and packed (by actual humans, not robots), it’s sent on its merry way via Royal Mail for all UK deliveries.

Here’s what to expect after you get that magical “Your order has been dispatched!” email:

UK: 3–4 working days

Europe: 5–10 working days

USA & Canada: 7–15 working days

Australia & New Zealand: Same as above -possibly longer if your customs folks are feeling extra thorough.

If your parcel’s taking a little detour (thanks, Royal Mail or customs!), please give it a few extra days to arrive before contacting us—UK: wait an extra 4 working days, just to be safe.

Delays are rare, but they do happen—and while we can hand-print your gear, sadly we can’t hand-deliver it to you (yet).

Possibly—but only if your country says so (we don’t make the rules, sadly).

Hotfuel is proudly based in the UK, so if you live somewhere that charges import duty or taxes on items from the UK, you might need to cough up a little extra. This usually only kicks in if your order is over a certain value—but that threshold varies by country, so you’ll need to check your local rules (we’d love to help, but we’re not customs experts, just T-shirt wizards).

Any duties or import fees aren’t included in your checkout total.

If you’re unsure, check your country’s customs website before ordering.

We don’t like surprise fees either, but sadly, they're out of our hands.

If only great design could bypass bureaucracy...

If you're not 100% happy with your order, we’ll try not to take it personally (but we might shed one small tear into our tea).

Here’s how to return an item without drama:

You’ve got 28 days from when your order was dispatched to send it back

Items must be unworn, unscented (no perfume, please), and in sellable condition

All returns must be requested via the HOTFUEL.CO.UK website

You’ll receive a return form—you MUST include this with your return or we can’t process your refund (rules are rules)

Please don’t:

Send items back without a return request.

Return anything after 28 days (sadly, we won’t be able to refund you).

Expect us to cover return postage - we’re a small business, not a multinational.

Important stuff:

Refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving your return.

Use a tracked service and get proof of postage—we can’t refund what we never receive.

Lost returns = your responsibility (we know, it's annoying, but that's how the post works)

Sale items?

We don’t offer exchanges on sale items, but we’re happy to refund you or issue a gift voucher, so you can treat yourself later.

Absolutely! If you need a different size, don’t panic—we’ve got your back (and your front, in the correct size).

Here’s how it works (UK only):

Pop the item back to us with a note saying which size you’d like instead.

We’ll send out your exchange free of charge (no extra postage for you!)

Like-for-like only please—same design, just a different size. Want something totally different? You’ll need to request a refund and place a shiny new order.

Sale items? Sadly, no exchanges—we can only offer a refund or a gift voucher to keep those bargain prices as low as your nan’s Sunday roast potatoes.

No need to email us in advance—just send it back with your size request

If we’re temporarily out of stock, we’ll let you know (and keep you in the loop)

Allow 7 working days for us to process your return

We’ll email you once your new size is on its way.

Your replacement will be sent via , so check our delivery page for timing.

Christmas exchanges:

Giving the gift of Hotfuel? Smart move. If you’re returning around the holidays, we may not process it until after the New Year - but don’t worry, our extended return window has got you covered.

First things first - regularly washing yourself is strongly encouraged. Your clothes will thank you.

As for our gear: we're proud to primarily use Fair Trade, ethical materials, which means your conscience is clean - but your clothes still need a good wash every now and then.

All our garments are pre-shrunk, so no need to size up in fear of a laundry disaster. But show them some love:

40°C max (not 40% - that’s a test score, not a temperature).

Turn them inside out if you’re feeling fancy. It also helps preserve the print colours

Never iron directly on the print, unless you’re into abstract melty art.

Treat your wardrobe like your friendships: with care, and ideally not covered in pizza stains!!
